Yoga could have been and should have been a very potent tool to facilitate whole person health in the USA. The unsettling reality is that it is not. American society seems to have got the argument and missed the premise on Yoga. Postures and some breathing techniques together make barely the less significant l/4th of the philosophy called Yoga. Unless the focus is shifted to missing major 3/4th part of it, Yoga cannot and will not serve beneficially to the cause of whole person health.
