The photon emission in visible range was measured on the surface of human body by means of low noise photomultiplier system. Changes of this photon emission in the course of the period of 24 hours and changes due to skin temperature alterations are investigated. In order to find out the dynamics and rate of the changes of this photon emission, several human
subjects are measured according to three basic measurement protocols: long term
measurement in the course of 24 hours, measurement of photon emission under induced
cooling of skin, measurement of photon emission under spontaneous cooling of skin. Photon
emission in the course of the 24 hours was investigated on hands to found that under normal
physiological conditions it may vary to 70% around daily average.
