The present article reports how the qigong waiqi effects subtilisin E, a protease derived from bacillus subtilis. By using the method of folin-phenol, we compared the activity of subtilisin E which was exposed to waiqi with that of the control and found that the consciousness of qigong master could regulate the interaction between waiqi and the protease.
