Relation Between Physiological Change and Breathing in Qigong

Abstract: We considered the relation between breathing in qigong and change in autonomous never activity by correlating the change in autonomous nerve activity with the movement of the abdomen and chest while breathing. We found that the autonomous nerves become predominantly sympathetic when the chest contracts.
