Prospective study on anti-senile (aging) effects of qigong

The present article reports the changes of the aging parameters of 10 elderly persons who have practiced Qigang for 3 years oompared with those of the control group without practising Qigong.

The results show that senile changes in terms of the vital capacity(vc), visual sensitivity (vs), muscular power(MP), jump height(JH) and Limb-stretching test (L-S-T) in the group practing Qigong are obviously less evident than those in control group(P<0.01).
