We measured biophotons from the palm and dorsum of left and right hands of ten cold patients. The quantity of biophotons was not balanced and the overall trend changed according to the symptom of the patients. After they had recovered from their cold, the biophoton emission rates were also balanced. This suggests that the state of a patient can be monitored more accurately based on biophoton measurement.
