This research measured the effect of adding medical qigong to the treatment plan of clinical psychology patients. Data was drawn from patient charts representing 30 years of clinical practice. Upon counting the number of sessions to completion of therapy, statistical means indicate a 50 per cent reduction in number of sessions when medical qigong is utilized along with individual psychotherapy. Clinical and spiritual implications of these results are discussed.
