The purpose of the present work was to investigate the effect of meridian point stimulation on an electroencephalogram through an information-transmission system by light-emitting diode. Three kinds of light emitting diodes were irradiated on the Laogong point; the electroencephalogram showed strong intensity around the vision field in the brain. In addition, strong intensities of ß-waves and ¶-waves were promoted by blue light irradiation.
