To launch a core training syllabus for bringing Dayan (Wild Goose) Qigong to diverse organizational settings to be use by professionals and family members. These gentle, yet energizing exercises that may be practiced by those who are cared for, and by those who are care giving, to create a Wellbeing Community. Inspired by Master Hui Liu of Wen Wu School, CA., and a 106 year-old Grandmaster, Yang Mei Jin, in Beijing, we’ve brought Dayan Qigong instruction onsite to elders and disabled persons since 1995. This year, our program at Oakland Easter Seals got a grant to create a training video. Whenever we present at conferences, professionals and caregivers urge us to teach a basic Qigong practice to improve their own emotional, physical, mental and spiritual well-being, that they can pass on to their clientele. This intensive daylong apprentice workshop includes warm-up stretches, self-massage, visualization and meditation. You will also gain knowledge of mobility impairment-related adaptations and accommodations. Video supplied with training.
