Qigong is for all ages. In order to teach Qigong to children, it is important to understand the characteristics of each developmental stage--the cognitive, social, motor skills as well as the vulnerability of organs and predisposition to illnesses. This workshop presents the author’s original theory that integrates western developmental theories of childhood with the Five Elements; formulates a protocol to identify the vulnerable organs for each age, the root of disorders; and instructs specific Qigong exercises to strengthen children according to the age and level of development.
