External - qi of qigong effects on the contents of L - EK and the threshold of pain in the rat

In this paper, we used the push pull cannula to estimate the contents of L - EK with stratum griseum centrale and studied it related to the threshold of pain and external-Qi. It was found that the changes of L - EK tallied with the changes of the threshold of pain in 24 of the 28 rats in the Qigong group. It was identical in 9 of 26 rats in the imitate group.
In the Qigong group the threshold of pain of 15 rats were raised with L - EK, however, in the imitate group the threshold of pain of 4 rats only were raised with L - EK. The great majority of changes occurred with no measurable order. In the Qigong group the P values and L - EK were compared to that in the imitate and normal groups. It was shown that the External was to be analgesic effect.
