Does Suggestion Change the Effects of Qigong?

In order to verify whether external qigong is influenced by suggestion, the EEG changes under sham and true qigong healing were studied. Sham qigong showed no effects on the EEG of alpha bands, while true qigong increased the alpha waves of subjects. It was suggested that external qigong is independent of suggestion.
