In order to understand the mechanism of qigong therapy, we research the Rayleigh scatter spectrum of the double distilled water received outgoing qi. We report the research result here.
Instruments and Materials
l. Shimadzu 540 Recording Spectrofluoro Photometer (made in Shimadzu Instrument Company, Japan)
2. Quarts-glass double distilled water (made in the laboratory of Department of Pathophysiology, Guangxi Medical College, Nanning, P.R. of China)
The glass test tubes with the quarts-glass double distilled water were divided three groups. One group did not receive any outgoing qi as control, another group received purgative outgoing qi, and the other group received invogorative outing qi. The qigong master, Dr. Mo Wen Dan, released his qi from his palms at 15cm. above the two experimental groups with different outgoing qi. The time of releasing qi was 10 minutes. Then, all the quarts-glass double distilled water were immediately determined with Shimadzu 540 Recording Spectrofluoro Photometer.
Results and Discussion
The Rayleigh scatter spectrum of qigong water show markedly change . The change of the spectrum of water caused by purgative outgoing qi are not the same as that of spectrum caused by invigorative outgoing qi. The invigorative outgoing qi increased the peak of Rayleigh scatter of water, but the purgative outgoing qi reduced it. These changes maybe due to the transformation of the election energy state of water molecular. This transformation is caused by outgoing qi.
On the other hand, the invigorative outgoing qi may strengthen the oxygen-hydrogen bond between water molecules. This increase the binding force between water molecules, and then increase the number of combining water molecules and the density of water molecules, at least raise the peak of the Rayleigh scatter of water. However, the purgative outgoing qi reduced the oxygen-hydrogen bond between water molecules, and then the density of water decreases the density of water molecules, at least weaken the peak of the Rayleigh scatter of double distilled water.
Recently, Qing Hua University found that qigong can change the Raman spectrum of water that outgoing qi can alter the intensity of the Rayleigh scatter spectrum of double distilled water and qigong waters is different from ordinary water. These suggest that there are some relationships between the changes of qigong water and their medical effects. Because the change caused by purgative outgoing qi is different from that caused by invigorative outgoing qi, the effect of purgative outgoing qi is different from that of invigorative outgoing qi.
