Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) employs methods of treatment such as acupuncture, acupressure, and QiGong (treatment based on meditation). The nurse using TCM can affect rehabilitation patient outcomes positively. With TCM training, nurses have an opportunity to learn the nuances of the Oriental environment and integrate them into their skills to nurse the spirit, mind, and body of patients in a holistic manner.
