“All my life I was in a wheelchair. After 47 years and one session of Chow Qigong I stood up and took three steps. After the second session I walked 25 feet with a little help. Now I use a pushcart to walk, cook my own meals, go out on dates and love to dance. I continue to practice Qigong faithfully to maintain my accomplishments.” “In 1991 an accident left me quadriplegic which medical doctors said was hopeless. After 3 months of Chow Qigong in 1996 I am walking with a walker. I continue to practice and to improve.” “After an eight hour surgery, my left arm was paralyzed without sensation. In only two months with immediate and continuing Chow Qigong therapy I am regaining normal movement and feeling and can use my arm and hand.“ Many people with disabilities and paralysis from cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, strokes, accidents, spinal cord and head injuries have benefited from Qigong. Chow Qigong, a combined approach of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual therapy is used. During this workshop cases will be presented and skills to help in the recovery from these and other conditions will be demonstrated and taught. Participants will experience the phenomenon of Qi. People with the above conditions are welcome to participate. They can volunteer to be subjects for demonstration.
