I am 80 years old now. My work is to treat patients with the emitting qi and I go to work every day.
I have been practicing qigong for 60 years. For my realization, practicing qigong has two main aims, i.e.: (l) Keeping fit bodily and mind, (2) Developing one's cognitive ability.
Qigong exercises can adjust balance of yin and yang via nourishing yin and calming yang. Hence, it has the function of healing, keeping fit and prolonging life. This is the lower level of qigong.
Developing cognitive ability is to top one's mind potentials. At the same time, I have dis cussed the basic theory and important methods of practicing qigong in the paper.
