Measurements of 260 nm absorbances for bovine thymus DNA and yeast RNA under the action of the emitted qi and will of qigong masters were conducted. The result showed as follows.

DNA samples which were treated by different qigong masters had different hyperchromic effects (P<O.01) which could be further followed and observed in a refrigerator for 4 to 48 hours. There was no change for RNA. It appears to show that the emitted qi and the will of qigong masters may have effect on DNA conformation.
