The effect of qigong on electromyogram in 30 cases with poliomyelitis paralysis who have been practicing qigong exercise for 10 months was observed. When inserting electromyogram electrodes to the tibalis anterior and gastrocnemius muscles, the maximal contraction of the tested muscles was observed. The electromyogram was collected by computer. The results showed that qigong exercise is a better method to improve suffering and capacity of limbs movement.
