The distinct effects of qigong emanation on the seed germination speed and growth speed of cotton seedlings were observed. The different effects were found when the different qigong emanations were used, which were emitted from different qigong masters. Some emanations had a positive effect with the enhancing role, others had a negative effect with the inhibitory role. The effects of qigong emanation on cold-resistance and dehydrogenase of the young roots, the nitrate reductase activity of the young leaves were the same as mentioned above, i.e. qigong emanation had a positive effect or a negative effect. Therefore, it has been shown that the effects of qigong emanation on seed germination speed and growth speed of cotton seedlings has a physiology and biochemistry base.
