Physical and biomedical effects of emitted qi

To study the physical nature and biomedical effects of qigong external qi (QEQ), 26 qigong masters and 10 boxing players were tested. Using microwave radiation instrument and subsonic vibration system, QEQ was demonstrated in most qigong masters while the controls showed negative results. Using laser SpexRaman log spectra analysis we observed that the molecular shifted in several spectrum when the glucose or chloroform solution installed in vials were grasped in qigong master's hand for 20 minutes, the changes lasted as long as 20 hours. Biomedical experiments showed a series of changes produced by QEQ . Inhibition of growth of C57 BL/6 melanoma cells in mice was observed in the QEQ experiment with significant statistics difference compared to the control group. Increases of r-interferon, interlukin-II and lymphotoxin were demonstrated in mice. Strengthening of NK cell activity was also verified in human experiment. It has been further disclosed that changes of blood ATP and catecholamines varied with different styles of qigong.

The authors conclude that the physical nature and biomedical effects of QEQ are having growing evidences beyond controversy, therefore it is worthy for further exploration.
