This collection of research papers was generated at the First International Conference on 'The Science of Whole Person Healing.' In opening the conference, Rustum Roy, the chairman, made the following points. There are today literally dozen major and another dozen minor conferences in the area of what is otherwise called by a variety of names, often including CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine). This conference was distinctive among those in several ways, including the introduction of a more comprehensive name for the field..Whole Person Healing.
