We isolated duct system from the dermis of rabbit believed to be traditional meridian line. Methylene blue stain shows a bundle of tubules inside the duct. The diameter of the duct and the tubule was about 70 µmm and 5-10 µmm, respectively. Close view showed fine fiber-like striae inside the tubules, through which very narrow lines of small granules of which the size is about 1 mm could be directly observed. These results confirm the identity of isolated duct from the dermis as a Bonghan duct. The cryosection of the ducts showed many lines of the rod shaped nuclei distributed as broken-line stripes, which is also a typical characteristic of Bonghan duct.
