The psychological record of a female's near-death experience II

Many researchers have reported that mortally wounded persons often undergo a near- death experience; NDE. Survivors of NDE often exhibit altered perceptions of clairvoyance or out-of-body experiences. For example, these individuals can clearly see distant incidents or view themselves from a projected position outside their body during NDE. In these phenomena, almost all the subjects insisted that what they saw and experienced was 'real'. In this thesis, a 58 year-old Japanese female claims that she had this same type of experience. In general, these kinds of phenomena are called extra-sensory perception, i.e. ESP. According to the research of Michael B. Sabom, M.D., all of the 61 people he investigated who had a NDE without exception shared common perceptions of an out-of-body experience and a feeling of peace. We can consider the structure and function of unconsciousness by analyzing these phenomena from a psychological point of view.
