A square-wave voltage pulse method (i.e., application of a square-wave voltage pulse to a human's skin and analyses of resultant electric currents based on Chinese medicine) was applied to evaluate the effects of weak external stimuli on the human body. Besides the conventional parameters that show Qi flow or activity of the autonomic nervous system, a 'balance' parameter was introduced to represent the balance of all meridians. Several kinds of stick-on-type metallic stimulators were examined in terms of these parameters.
