60 Cases of Rheumatoid Arthritis in Late Stage Treated by medicine fumigation and washing combined with Qi-Conducting pressing acupoints and Tuina

Objective: To try to investigate the curative effect on Rheumatoid Arthritis in late stage treated by medicine fumigation and washing combined with Qi-Conducting pressing acupoints and tuina.
Methods: The investigation was carried out in sixty patients (including 28 males, 32 females, 28~68 years, with the course of diseases from 3 months to 11 years) of Rheumatoid Arthritis in late stage. All patients received the fumigation and washing treatment steamed with distilled spirit, vinegar, and Chinese traditional medicine including Bajiaoma, Zhuifengteng and Tougucao. Then Qi is guided to press certain acupoints and massage the affected extremity, once per day, 7 days as a course of treatment.
Results: 45 patients were completely cured, 15 patients showed obvious effect. The patients were received treatment 3~10 times.
Conclusion: It was seems that it was a good choice for the patients of Rheumatoid Arthritis in late stage to be treated by medicine fumigation and washing combined with Qi-guiding pressing acupoints and tuina.
