To investigate the mechanism on blood theology of Qigong in treating radicular cervical spondylopathy, 44 cases of radicular spondylopathy were classified into observation group (26 cases, treated by Qigong and Chinese herb) and control group (l8 cases, treated by simple Chinese herb). 30-day treatment later, the clinical effective rate was higher in observation group than in control group (P < 0.05); the clinical integral reduced more obviously in observation group than in control group (P <O.Ol); the indexes of blood theology (including high-sheer viscosity, low-sheer viscosity, high-sheer reduction viscosity, aggregation index of RBC and stiffness index) improved better in observation group than in control group (P < 0. 05-0.01), which indicated that Qigong probably exerted its therapeutic effects on radicular cervical spondylopathy by improving the blond theology.
