It has been found that touching therapy eases pain and feelings of patient. In this work, to know how touching works for the elderly with dementia, average values of the skin electric conductivity, blood pressure, pulse rate, and skin surface temperature were measured. Interviews were also made with the subjects. For the comparison, the same examinations are done for healthy young and healthy elderly subjects. The results show that there are differences between the average neurometry values before and after touching, especially 1 day after the touching.
