As we all know, there are relatively few people who practice Qigong in the world. The reason for that cannot be simply identified as the majority's failure to understand what Qigong really is or to accept it as a scientific fact. People are somewhat wary of the intense and complex mental activity Qigong involves, and many are led to think that it is something too tiresome and complicated to even bother about it. Yet, the major virtue of Qigong lies specifically in the stimulation of energy flow in the brain. All Qigongtechniques are based on improving the practitioners' mental abilities as the basis for boosting all their other achievements. The powerful activation of extensive brain areas leads to a visible development of the practitioners' intellectual abilities. Statistical data collected during the last decade of this century and millennium by the Romanian Qitaky Foundation have demonstrated that the categories benefiting most from these techniques are children and teenagers.
