We would like to introduce experiments on non-visual recognition. We performed physiological measurements, such as EEG, ECG, blood flow around the carotid artery and between both eyebrows of the subjects' faces using Doppler method, PPG, SpO2, CO2, GSR, and measuring respiration from the nose and abdominal respiration, etc. simultaneously recording the phenomena from the subjects during the non-visual recognition.

From the experiments, the subjects' heart rate increased and blood pressure went up compared to the period before and after the experiments in the relaxed condition with both eyes closed. During the period of non-visual recognition, their sympathetic nervous systems worked strongly and their heart rate increased, R point voltages decreased and LF/HF values which came out from R-R time fluctuation results of ECG data. Especially during the period of real non-visual recognition, the heart rates of subjects went up suddenly and simultaneously the R point voltages of ECG data went up spontaneously. The blood flow around the carotid artery and between both eyebrows increased two times.

From the EEG topograph, strong beta waves were detected in the frontal lobe especially on the left side and simultaneously the visual cortex, moreover two separate beta regions in the topograph were connected through a special route by way of a point which was known as appearing fm _ wave in a short period. This could be interpreted as the subjects being able to see non-visual matters in a short period. Therefore, the point related to fm _ should be very important in performing the ability. Also, in a short period, sinusoidal wave in the GSR (Galvanic Skin response) data was appeared. The frequency of the sinusoidal wave from about 1Hz to 10 Hz depends on the persons and the experimental contents such as non-visual recognition.
