Diseases bring to human beings great pains in both body and mind. It has become a common goal of people to fight against diseases. Medicaments, surgery are the main methods used in modern medical
science, yet diseases due to physiological dysfunction are incurable in this way, and treatment for many chronic diseases is far from satisfaction. Besides, many patients find it hard to bear the large sum of medical expenditure. Therefore it is extremely necessary to explore other effective methods to treat such illnesses.

Being a part of traditional Chinese culture, Qigong enjoys its own
unique advantages in treating various disorders, rich in both theoretical basis and practical experience. Scientific studies show that Qigong can produce marked physiological effect on human central nervous system, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, endocrine system, as well as digestive and urinary systems. In Qigong State people's ability to recover from illnesses can be greatly enhanced. All these come to prove that Qigong can be an effective method in treatment of various chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disorders, diabetes and cancer as well.

In the past three decades Qigong is proved to be an independent rehabilitative medicine Chronic diseases which fail to respond to medicaments and surgery can be treated by Qigong exercises. Qigong therapy can not only produce safe and effective results, but is also free from economic and environmental restraints, thus it has become the best curative method in treatment of different chronic disease.
