Further research is done on the origin of Qi and Qi-formed human
structure based on the integrated human structure theory. Qi, the
homologue of entity, is the intrinsic substance in nature. In general speaking, Qi can be classified into two parts.
The quantum part is from ray to photoelectron quality gradation while non-quantum refers to the part below photoelectron quality gradation. The quantum parts of Qi and of entity based on elements are connected with the transformation of entity and Qi. Qi in a deep level includes Qi of supreme ultimate (verified by the substances before the existence of the universe), Qi of yin-yang and Qi of the Five Elements (related to the evolution and affected by the sun, the moon, continents, seas and atmosphere).
Human beings' Qi structure is described as follows:
1. Three Spirits
2. Seven Souls
3. Five Zang Organs
Six Fu Organs
Qi of Channels and Collaterals
The Spirit of Heaven refers to upper Dantian, situated in the cranial cavity, below Baihui (DU 20); the spirit of earth refers to of Yongquan (KI 1) in the sole; the spirit of people is situated in the heart and nearby vessels. As for seven souls, the soul of essence (soul of earth) is located in the midpoint of Huiyin (RN 1) and Baihui (DU 20), the soul of Qi (soul of wood), below the diaphragm of the line between Huiyin (RN 1) and Baihui (DU 20) the soul of spirit (soul of metal, located in the interior of Tanzhong (RN 17), inside mediastinum, near the spirit of people, on the line between Huiyin (RN 1) and Baihui (DU 20); the soul of yin (soul of water), in the interior of the navel, front of the central line between Huiyin (RN 1) and Bauhui (DU 20); the soul of yang (soul of fire), in the interior of Mingmen (DU 4) (the gate of life), behind the central line between Baihui (DU 20) and Huiyin (RN 1) the soul of sex (soul of heaven), in Yongquan (RI 1), near upper Dantian.
Human beings have altogether Twelve Kinds of Qi of Yin, Qi of Yang, Qi of the Five Yin Elements and Qi of the Five Yang Elements. Thus we say Qi of the Five (six) Zang Organs and Qi of the Six Fu Organs, or Qi of Twelve Channels and collaterals. Qi and entity combine to form the zang, fu organs, channels and collaterals. The harmony of Qi and entity constitutes the foundation of human physiology.
