This workshop will describe the presenters' three-year experience working with a varied adult population in a 6-week community wellness program at mainstream medical center. Those who participated in this stress reduction class included health professionals as well as people wanting to stay well, those with cancer, autoimmune diseases, work stress, anxiety, and chronic pain. The purpose of the 6-week class is to give participants a simple practice of health enhancement qigong that can be integrated into their daily life. The qigong is complemented with research, information and tools from PNI (western bodymind medicine) which emphasize cell repair, regeneration, and stress reduction.

In this workshop participants will experience three examples of this integrated practice: (1) intention and alignment; (2) conditioning and the senses; and (3) visualization.
