GYNEPATHIC DISEASES TREATED BY QIGONG

We used digital pressure, tuina and emitted qi to treat 76 cases of gynepathic diseases, such as chronic pelviperitionitis, endometrits, Leukorrhagia, disorder of menstruation, menorrhalgia, ovarian cyst and hysteromyoma.
The following is the conclusion:
1. Clinical data
1.1.1 Age and course of disease:
Among the 76 patients, there were 28 persons from 15 to 25 years old, 37 from 26 to 35, 11 persons over 36 years old. Their professions: students, 35(about 47.4%), cadres(33. 43.4%), clerks (8, 10.5%).
Course of disease: 34 patients from 3 to 6 months, 36 from 6 months to over one year and 6 patients, over two years.
1.1.2 Diseases and Symptoms
1. Diseases:
Chronic pelviperctonitis, endomentrists, leukorrhagia, disorder of menstruation, menorrhalgia, ovarian cyst and hysteromyoma.
Symptoms: Menorrhagia, hypomenorrhea, preceded menstrual cycle, delayed menstrual cycle, pain in the lower abdomen, pain and soreness of waist, colporrhagia.
2. Therapeutic methods
2.1.1. Qi emitted to patients' points
(1). Patients were required to lie or sit in comfort and relax, then came to the state of meditation.
2.1.2. Point Selection
(1) Main points: Qihai (Ren6), Guanyuan(Ren4),Yaoshu(Du2),Shenshu(UB23),Pangguangshu(UB28).
(2) Adjunct points: Baihui(Du20), Sanyinjiao(Sp6), Zusanli(St36),Xuehai(Sp1),Mingmen(Du4).
2.1.3. Course of treatment
15-20 minutes a day; a course of treatment: 12 times; 3-6 courses needed
3. Results
Nearly cured: 52 cases (68.42%)
Markedly effective: 14 cases (18.42%)
effective: 10 cases (13.16%)
