The average age of the patients was 65 years old. There were 14 men and 26 women. 5 cases had suffered myocardiac infarction and 35 cases insufficient blood supply. After qigong exercises, the obstruction in the Du Meridian was removed in 35 patients, amounting to 87.5%. Others practiced the 3-4 step qigong. Each patient had practiced qigong for 500 hours. According to ECG and symptoms, 18 cases turned to normal, 19 cases had marked effectiveness and 3 cases had no change. The first two accounted for 80%.

After qigong exercises, 71% patients had an obvious change in T-wave and ST segment towards almost normal level. In some cases, other diseases disappeared.
