During 1970-1980 it was stated that a living organism produces another type of electricity, namely static electricity, or precisely quasi-static. Its source are the organized molecular structures, beginning with submicroscopic, such as cell membrane and up to macro scale, e. g. bones, muscles. Electric effects occur here as well as piezoelectricity and piroelectricity in high differentiation. The organized organic molecules produce around themselves the electric field in space. The field can be detected at the distance of several scores of centimeters. As the living organism is the heterogeneous system therefore by studying the EF produced by it we can find out that EF is different for different places of the body, different for different persons, it varies slowly in time-thus its name quasi-steady EF. This diversity is the source of information which can be of very significant influence in medical diagnostic and in development of new therapeutic methods.
In research center in Vellinge, Sweden, has been installed a prototypical measure-recording apparatus and the Faraday cage. From 1993 systematic studies were carried out on the alternative EF produced by human organism. In details was registered EF emitted by persons exercising Qigong in different experimental situations. Noticeable are large differences between signals emitted by different persons. Those signals are changing according to the will of the acting person. Tapes with recorded results constitute the document material which enable calculations and comparisons of the different signal parameters.
