Experimental observation of qigong operations: meridian measurements Author: Kobayashi Keisuke Affiliation: Psychosomatic Science Laboratory, Suginami Acupuncture Clinic Conference/Journal: Japanese Mind-Body Science Date published: 1992 Other: Volume ID: 1 , Issue ID: 1 , Pages: 119-128 , Special Notes: Article in Japanese , Word Count: 105 Observation of qigong operations are performed by meridian activity measuring method using single square voltage pulse technic. The results show that variations in the 'qi-flow,' the activity in sympathetic nerves and the epidemic temperature in the fingers of the qi sender are well correlated with the procedure of the internal operation of the qi system by the sender. Synchronous changes of the meridian parameters are observed between the qi sender and the acceptor. To verify the distant interaction between the qi sender and the acceptor with high reliability, it is necessary to compile data which are obtained by experiments conducted under well defined condition.
