It works primarily with the core energy of the body, which is deeper and more fundamental than the energy of the meridian lines. Opening the Energy Gates of the Body allows the practitioner to develop and store large components of the Qi cultivation techniques found in Tai Chi Chuan. The results of practice are both very predictable and very profound, and consequently this form of Neigong is a suitable health care system for the general population. LONG HU GONG (DRAGON-TIGER QIGONG) This form of Qigong is widely practiced in China, where there are more than twenty thousand teachers of this system. Buddhist in origin, it concentrates on moving energy along the major meridians. This system is used to treat cancer and other practice, this system develops the ability to discharge Qi from the hands, which makes it especially suitable for acupuncturists. Long Hu Gong is relatively easy to learn. Copyright: Kumar Frantzis 1990
