The subjects were divided into two groups according the second diagnosis: Qigong group and corrected group. Compared and analyzed the common condition and psychotic symptoms of the two groups. Results: 23 cases were corrected for the diagnoses as schizophrenia, hysteria, schizophreniform psychosis and mania. By comparing the Qigong group with the corrected group, the results showed that significant difference existed in age (p<0.05) and form of onset, course (t=3.53,p<0.001), recovering time (t=2.04,p<0.05) and some clinical symptoms occurrences such as twilight, feeling of Qi, action of Fagong, self-hurt or suicide, delusion of persecution and reference. Conclusion: Psychotic disorders induced by Qigong should exist as an independent disease unit, but the diagnosis should be cautiously made in patients with chronic onset, suffering at younger age, loose relationship with Qigong exercise, longer disease course, typical psychotic symptoms or unsatisfactory remission.
