    With the development of space medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese herbs have been widely used in counteracting motion sickness, bone loss, muscle atrophy, and circulation system disorder, improving body's adaptability and
protecting the effect of irradiation, hypoxia and noise. This paper summarized the application of basic theories of traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese herbs, acupoint treatment and Qigong in space medical research.
