Study of an influence of an emission from a 80 khz quartz resonance system on water by means of NMR spectroscopy Author: Adachi Y//Aoki T//Yoshihuku Y//Yoshida K//// Affiliation: Chubu University, Chubu, Japan Conference/Journal: Japanese Mind-Body Science Date published: 1998 Other: Volume ID: 7 , Issue ID: 1 , Pages: 113 , Word Count: 140 Five types of mineral waters and one of distilled water were irradiated by artificial external qi emitted from a qi-generator made of a 80 khz quartz resonance system previously proposed by one of the authors, where this artificial external qi was named EQR (emission from quartz resonance). Changes of water structures before and after the EQR irradiation were investigated by NMR spectroscopy. The line widths of 0-17 (isotope-17) magnetic resonance of O-17 nucleus were measured for the 30 min. EQR irradiated waters by NMR spectroscopy. It was found that the values of the line widths were decreased by the EQR irradiation, indicating that the size of water clusters became smaller than those without irradiation. However, an electromagnetic field generator didn't cause any significant changes in water structure within 1 hour irradiation, indicating the weak electromagnetic waves do not influence on the water structures.
