In this workshop, we will discover some of the principles of the therapeutic blending process in CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and medical Qigong. CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and Qigong are both based on the concept that the body has the ability to self-heal. The therapeutic encounter represents a time and space during which consciously or not, a person seeks guidance to connect or reconnect within their own healing process. In CST, the therapeutic blending process is established through intentioned touch or palpation. With light touch and in a caring/helping way, different levels of consciousness fields enter in communication. The facilitator (the therapist) is therefore assisting in the establishment of communication networks between the subject’s various levels of conscious and non-conscious awareness together with facilitating the release or reconnection within the person’s body tissues. The quality of the therapeutic blending process is directly dependant on the quality of the facilitator’s energy field and the specificity of the tools that he/she has integrated.
