Since second day after transplantation of U27 cancer, the mice of the Wai Qi Group were treated for 10-30 minutes every day. The mice of the Control Group were not given any treatment. 23 and 33 days after transplantation of U27 cancer, the mice were killed and autopsied. All the tumor volumes were measured individually. All lungs and axillary lymph nodes were examined histopthologically. It was found that in 16 mice of Wai Qi Group: lymph node metastasis was 1 1/16 lung metastasis was 2 2/16 c. average volume of the tumor was 1.82cm. In 15 mice of the Control Group: a. lymph nodes metastasis was 6 (6/15) b. lung metastasis was 3 (3/15) c. average volume of tumor was 6.75cm These results indicate that Wai Qi of Qigong can reduce the tumor volume and metastasis.
