Yuanji gongís influence on criminals' health level

    To find out the influence of the Yuanji Gong on criminals' psychology and health level, 203 female criminals were tested.  

Method:

203 female criminals committing different crimes.  SCL-90 forms were distributed to them to know their compulsive symptoms, sensitivity to human relation, depression, worry, fright, hostility, stubbornness, psychological disorders, sleep and appetite.

In May 1996 a workshop of the Yuanji Gong was run in a prison.  108 females were in the Experimental Group whereas 95 persons in the Control Group.  The day before and after the workshop, they filled out the SCL-90 form.

Result:
It shows that the Yuanji Gong can improve the criminals' psychological health based on the data obtained.  The Qigong form can supply energy to them, regulate the function of the body and mind.
