HTC superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) applied to detect the 'qigong' signal Author: Xue Shouqing Conference/Journal: 6th Int Sym on Qigong Date published: 1996 Other: Pages: 144 , Special Notes: Also in Chinese , Word Count: 85 The “external gas” emitted by qigong masters were investigated by means of the high critical temperature Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (HTc SQUID) magnetometer, having the highest sensitivity of 1.2 X 10 exp10(- 8) G/Hz exp 10 (1/2). The investigations lasted for as long as five years. All of the experiments were carried out in a special magnetic shielded room located in a suburb of Beijing. Most of these signals were weak direct or low frequency magnetic field. The highest signal detected reached to the order of 10-5G.
